Jordin Orlando Angulo began learning guitar in 2017 and it sparked a love for music which would lead him to pursue his music degree. Jordin is now a part of the Bolton Guitar Studies studio at The Fred Fox School of Music at the University of Arizona where he is pursuing his bachelor’s in music.
Jordin’s solo recitals contain a vast variety of music, extending from the piercing tenderness of Bach’s harmony, to the captivating melodies of Francisco Tarrega. Along with being a performer, Jordin, is also an arranger for the guitar. Bring beautiful guitar renditions of music not originally for guitar.
One of Jordin’s passions aside from performing, is teaching. Giving the student the same guidance and patience, which helped him. Jordin started giving private lessons over Zoom and Discord in 2020.
Jordin studied under Micheal Lich at Pima Community College (PCC) and is currently studying under Ana-Maria Iordache at the UA. Jordin, has also received lessons from Manus Noble a Royal College of Music Alumni and has participated in masterclasses of: Erik Quijada from the University of Sonora, and of the world renowned guitarist and composer; Sergio Assad.
